Never Have I Ever Tag: Writer Edition – Tag Tuesday

Dear Readers,

Once again I am destroying the purpose of tags XD.

But you know what?

We’re going to keep doing these in the hopes that maybe someone will tag me.

LOL it’s fine we’re just going to keep doing these anyway.

~The Rules~

  • Include the graphic somewhere in your post, or make your own!
Graphic is at the top, and my images are at the bottom 😀
  • Answer the questions truthfully and honestly
I mean, I was planning to, but now I’m scared XD
  • Tag three bloggers
See the bottom of this post ❤

Never have I ever…

started a novel I didn’t finish

Well… okay technically yes but I am going to finish it! It just needed a break, okay? It was really really bad XD.

…changed tenses midway through a story
*sighs* This is not going well now is it? Yes, I have changed tenses before. It is my biggest pet peeve when editing, and normally I’m pretty good about it, but it has happened before.

…not researched anything before starting a story
Yeah, my first two books were completely research-free. I don’t think I googled anything except how to spell big words and translating things to Danish. I regret this deeply.

…changed my protagonist’s name halfway through a draft
I haven’t! I’ve managed to remember their names pretty well 😀

…written a story in a month or less
Not yet, actually! I always get a lot done during NaNoWriMo, but then I’ll normally carry on through December and January to finish the first draft.

…fallen asleep while writing
Nope! I’ll normally stop myself if I can barely see the words anymore. \O-O/

…corrected someone’s grammar IRL/Online

yeah i have

…yelled in all caps at myself in the middle of my novel.
Let just say say I utilize Google Docs’ comment feature quite often.

…used “I’m writing” as an excuse
Constantly

…killed a character that was based on someone I know in real life
heh heh um no of course not why would I do that????
I was a messed up kid, okay? I had some problems.

…used pop culture references in a story
Let’s just say that pop culture has managed it’s way into the room where it happens on multiple occasions.

written between the hours of 1 AM and 6 AM.
No, actually, I haven’t! I might have to update this late though because I am positive it will happen at some point XD. Although for 2019’s NaNo I met my goal at 11:40 PM on November 30 so there’s that!

…drank an entire pot of coffee while writing.
My mom would kill me if I didn’t die first.

…written down dreams to use in potential novels.
I think so. I know I’ve considered writing a ton of short stories about my dreams because they are beyond insanity, but I’m not sure if I’ve actually written one down.

…published an unedited story on the internet/blog/Wattpad.
heh.
Let’s just say my first novel did not reach it’s full potential before I released it 0_0

…procrastinated homework because I wanted to write.

Maaaaaaaybeeeeeeeee
Yeah I do.

…typed so long that my wrists hurt.
Yeah, I think it was maybe two straight hours? Creative juice was really flowing that day.

…spilled a drink on my laptop while writing.
More likely food than drink. I have had many a greasy keyboard.

…forgotten to save my work/draft.
Not a novel, but I blog post 0-0. I lost an entire post that had taken me at least two hours to write and booooy was I angry.

…finished a novel.
Two!

…laughed like an evil villain while writing a scene.
More than once. Many, many times.

…cried while writing a scene.
Nope! Not yet, at least.

…created maps of my fictional worlds.
Too many times, and I have lost each and every one of them, which is very annoying. I dream of the day where I can have an entire corkboard just for my maps.

…researched something shady for a novel.
Haven’t we all?

I tag Sara @ The Bibliophagist, Libbery @ Library Raider, and Sarah @ Wiggle’s World. I hope you guys have fun with this tag, if you choose to participate 😀 Question of the day, have you ever laughed maniacally over the fate of your characters? Thanks for checking in, until next time, keep reading!
